Reliability Engineer - Senior

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Reliability Engineer to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. Due to internal role changes, we are seeking to maintain continuity by hiring an external expert until an internal candidate is selected. About the role

As a Reliability Engineer at VeroTech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment. You will investigate machine failures through Root Cause Analysis and develop proposals aimed at reducing downtime. Moreover, you will create preventive maintenance plans and define spare parts requirements for critical equipment.

Key responsibilities

- Investigate machine failures and develop proposals to reduce downtime.

- Analyse technical issues and propose effective solutions.

- Create and optimise preventive maintenance plans.

- Prepare and execute RCM exercises for new projects.

- Define spare parts requirements for critical equipment.

- Draft documentation for testing safety-critical components.

- Take on additional day-to-day tasks as needed.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a seasoned Reliability Engineer with a strong technical background and a proactive approach.

- Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

- 5–7 years of experience in maintenance/reliability engineering, preferably in the process industry.

- Strong technical knowledge in electromechanics (hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity).

- Familiarity with maintenance techniques and basic knowledge of materials.

- Proficient in SAP-PM and maintenance workflows.

- Experience with RCA and RCM methodologies.

- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance standards.

- Fluent in Dutch and English.
