About the role

In this role, you drive advancements in light-driven oligonucleotide synthesis. Your expertise will be critical in optimizing photochemical parameters for confined and rapid reactions, evaluating material properties, and influencing tool architecture development for oligonucleotide workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize (photo)chemical parameters for robust light‑directed oligonucleotide synthesis.

• Study material properties to control exposure and confine photochemical reactions.

• Define specifications to integrate photochemical processes into intermediate and scaled‑up tool architectures.

• Lead oligonucleotide library synthesis, including evaluation, external cross‑validation, deprotection, release, formulation, and packaging.

What we're looking for

A dedicated professional with a strong chemistry background. Key qualifications include:

• Expertise in Chemistry; Materials Science or Photochemistry experience is a plus.

• Proven expertise in DNA synthesis and biochemical analysis.

• Passion for laboratory research and innovation.

• Strong team player with multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
