About the role
As a Senior Account Manager, you will work closely with multinationals, scale-ups, and other industry leaders across a variety of sectors. Your mission? To establish, develop, and nurture strong partnerships that support our clients’ high-tech ambitions. Armed with the expertise of our exceptional Talent Acquisition team, you will match our clients with the best engineering talent available in Belgium.
Key responsibilities:
Manage strategic partnerships: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and consultants, ensuring long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
Drive business growth: Develop strategies to expand our client portfolio and implement them effectively.
Achieve sales objectives: Translate sales targets into actionable goals, monitor performance, and adapt strategies to ensure success.
People management & talent follow-Up: Oversee and support our consultants at client sites to ensure their professional development, engagement, and satisfaction, while maintaining alignment with client needs and expectations.
Leadership & team development: Mentor and coach Account Managers and Account Executives, sharing your expertise to strengthen the team’s performance.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists, HR Business Partners and Solution Managers to deliver exceptional solutions for clients.
Customer-centric approach: Oversee pricing strategies, ensure accurate proposals, and guarantee customer satisfaction.
Market intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, perform competitor analysis, and leverage insights to shape future strategies.
Job requirements
What we’re looking for
We’re on the hunt for a passionate and driven professional with the following qualities:
Educational background: A Master’s degree in Business, Commercial, or Engineering fields.
Experience: At least 5 years in Account Management or Business Development, preferably in the R&D, engineering, or digital consulting sectors.
Leadership skills: Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
People management expertise: A strong interest in engaging with and supporting consultants in their roles at client sites, ensuring their growth and alignment with client objectives.
Entrepreneurial mindset: A proactive and independent approach, with a “can-do” attitude.
Analytical & strategic thinking: Ability to structure your work, prioritize tasks, and develop actionable strategies.
Language proficiency: Fluency in English and Dutch or French (fluency in all three is a bonus).
Communication excellence: Outstanding negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for high-tech: An interest or experience in digital transformation or engineering consulting is highly valued.
