Senior Business/Functional Analyst – Application & Data Migration Focus

As a Senior Business/Functional Analyst, you’ll be part of a transformation program involving the migration of critical applications and/or databases. You’ll bridge business and IT by translating needs into actionable, scalable solutions and supporting the Product Owner with task prioritisation across sub-projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze and document business needs and define project scopes.

• Lead workshops with stakeholders (NL/FR) to gather, challenge, and refine requirements.

• Translate business needs into functional ICT solutions and specifications.

• Create detailed documentation: AS IS/TO BE processes, business rules, technical and functional requirements.

• Support backlog creation, story definition, and implementation planning.

• Collaborate on application documentation and solution design.

• Create data models and functional mockups.

• Develop and execute test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

• Conduct end-to-end testing before delivery to business.

• Provide clear reporting to stakeholders and support decision-making.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as a Senior Functional or Business Analyst.

• Strong experience in application and/or database migration projects.

• Expertise in BPMN, data modeling, requirements analysis, and documentation.

• Excellent facilitation skills – you lead workshops with confidence in both Dutch and French.

• Hands-on experience with backlog management, testing, and mockups.

• Skilled in tools like MS Office, Gitlab, and modern documentation platforms.

Languages:

• Dutch or French (native or bilingual)

• English (professional working proficiency)
