Senior Project Manager Digitalization

As a Senior Project Manager, this role leads digitalization projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. The team is guided through collaboration with sponsors, steering groups, and stakeholders both inside and outside the organization. By spearheading initiatives, the role proactively drives projects, bringing together the right people to ensure progress and embed project results into the business.

About the role

Transform problem statements into clear project scopes, plans, and budgets during the concept phase. Guide validated projects through development, including execution planning, tenders, and permits. Oversee execution to ensure objectives are met, adjusting plans as necessary. Conclude projects by facilitating a smooth handover to the business and ensuring formal closure, embedding results into ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Actively engage with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to understand and meet their expectations.

• Maintain control over project scope, time, budget, risks, and quality.

• Manage change and communication aspects when needed.

• Proactively steer projects to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, identify changes, and propose alternative solutions.

• Apply the company’s project management methodology, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting.

What we're looking for

We seek an experienced Project Manager with:

• Proven Change Management experience.

• Extensive background as a PM in complex, diverse, and long-term digital projects.

• Strong experience in technical environments relevant to project contexts.

• Demonstrated project leadership and guidance experience.

• Proven Stakeholder Management skills.

• In-depth knowledge of PM methodology including terminology, organization, roles, and processes.

• Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent experience.

• Fluency in English with good Dutch and/or French proficiency.
