About the role

Join VeroTech as a Senior Python Fullstack Developer and contribute to building a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure. Working within the Netcalc team, you will enhance existing Python scripts, establish governance, and introduce best practices, including DevOps and reviewing processes, to support the business team.

Key responsibilities

• Improve and maintain self-developed Python scripts.

• Define and establish governance and best practices.

• Introduce DevOps and review processes.

• Follow the company’s standards for high-quality code delivery.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a highly skilled developer with:

• Experience with Python 3.11+.

• Proficiency using Pandas and Numpy.

• Proven experience as a senior or technical lead.

• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps preferred.

• Familiarity with PyPSA and pandapower is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills and accountability.

• A willingness to challenge the status quo.

• Multilingual abilities: fluent in English with proficiency in French or Dutch.
