Service Manager

About the role

As a Service Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of approximately 15 technicians and 3-4 internal staff. Your leadership will guide the planning and execution of our service activities, while ensuring the quality and consistency of our services. Working closely with internal R&D and engineering, you'll provide critical technical support, ensuring our service department operates at peak efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily activities of the service team.

• Coordinate planning and follow-up of service operations.

• Maintain high-quality service delivery.

• Serve as a link between office staff and field technicians.

• Drive the structuring and professionalization of the service department.

• Collaborate with R&D and engineering for technical support.

• Report directly to the COO.

What we're looking for

We seek a candidate with a strong background in service management and proven people management skills. You should be able to lead both technical and administrative teams effectively.

• Experience in a service-oriented environment is essential.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Experience with building or structuring a service department.

• Technical background or affinity with technical products is an advantage.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic SME environment: independent, pragmatic, and hands-on.

• Full-time availability, work location in Lokeren.
