About the role

You are an integral part of a close-knit team of research software engineers tasked with creating investigational device software and research tools utilizing various technologies such as desktop, mobile, cloud computing, and web. Specifically, you'll focus on application development in C#, ensuring you have a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of software development in the medical industry. Your role will involve working collaboratively within cross-functional research squads to deliver functional prototypes and explore new concepts, contributing to the success of all teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software prototypes.

• Engage in full software prototype development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, verification, deployment, and documentation.

• Develop application code in C# for the Windows platform.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate learnings into project deliverables.

• Maintain flexibility to accommodate evolving research insights and product concepts.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with C#

• Proficiency in C# application code development targeting the Windows platform.

• Familiarity with Swift for iOS and cloud computing, particularly Amazon Web Services, is a plus.

• Experience in the hardware-software interface and a basic understanding of electronics technology.

• Passion for lean research and eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies.

• Open-mindedness and flexibility in dealing with evolving research topics.

• Completely proficient in English.
