Solution Engineer

You're about to embark on a transformative journey as a Solution Engineer with a strong Java Cloud engineering background. In this influential role, you're not only coordinating, following up, adjusting, designing, and implementing, but you're also stepping into an ongoing initiative filled with significant challenges, working alongside a team of motivated and experienced experts.

About the role

You'll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, contributing to the design, development, production, and maintenance of robust and secure applications.

Key responsibilities

• Working closely with all the colleagues involved in the project

• Full-stack expertise, providing guidance throughout the entire application lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance

• In the Scrum Master role, you will actively participate in all sprint events—including planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. You will take ownership of preparing medium- and long-term release calendars, while carefully managing external dependencies. Your focus will balance both short-term delivery and long-term strategic goals

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science

• Strong eagerness to continuously learn and upskill

• Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment

• Scrum/Agile Delivery experience, ideally combined with a background as a Java Developer or Architect

• Hands-on involvement in greenfield projects using modern technologies such as APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and native cloud

• Experience implementing Agile frameworks such as SAFe and LeSS

• Experience using Azure DevOps to manage agile software and solution delivery

• You speak French/Dutch on a fluent level with a very good understanding of English

• Nice to have: knowledge of Behavioral/Domain-Driven Design and the Angular framework
