About the role

In your role as a Sr. Mechanical Designer, you are actively involved in all stages of the design process. This includes concept development, engineering, prototyping, testing, production tooling, and quality assurance. You interface with both suppliers and internal/external clients globally, showcasing your ability to meet deadlines and deliver performance-enhancing ideas. Your strong penchant for innovation and creativity allows you to drive projects that improve product efficiency. You also contribute actively in brainstorming sessions, idea generation, and modeling demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

- Drive the design process from concept through to production.

- Collaborate with global suppliers and clients to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.

- Generate innovative ideas to enhance new and existing products.

- Actively engage in idea generation and concept modeling.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a dynamic and independent mechanical design professional with the following qualifications:

- Master’s degree in electromechanics or mechanical design.

- At least 10 years of experience in mechanical design within a machine-building environment.

- Comprehensive knowledge across engineering domains such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, electrics, and FEA.

- Fluent in both English and Dutch ideally.

- Proficiency in Siemens NX.
