Job description
Join VeroTech as a system engineer and become part of our community where innovation and people come first. You’ll take on exciting technical challenges and develop your expertise while creating solutions that drive progress across several industries.
About the role
In this VeroTech consultancy role, you will work in a multidisciplinary engineering team on the design, development and qualification of new products or concepts, while also supporting the in-service product line. You will support several projects at once, so planning and organisation matter. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, you will help turn technical studies into reliable engineering decisions and practical improvements across the product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Develop and improve algorithms and control laws for guidance, navigation, flight controls and aiming systems
Test and assess algorithm performance using analytical methods and Monte Carlo simulations
Validate and verify algorithm updates and new designs
Support the integration of algorithms into hardware through code generation and hardware-in-the-loop test rigs
Improve generated C code and help the embedded team integrate algorithms into devices
Participate in firing campaigns and process flight test data
Maintain the digital twin, model physical behaviours of new concepts and collaborate with Bid, Project, Operations and Quality teams on technical offers, calibration procedures and acceptance test deviations
