Technical product owner

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement of the digital customer portal. This role is responsible for owning the product vision, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions, and maintaining a clear roadmap (9 months to a year out) that supports business priorities.

About the role

As a Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing the product roadmap, aligning it with business priorities, and working closely with front & back-end developers, stakeholders, and leadership. You'll translate business needs into actionable user stories, ensuring successful delivery through Agile practices.

Key responsibilities

• Own the digital portal product, including its vision, build, and ongoing evolution.

• Define and maintain a product roadmap aligning with organizational priorities and user needs.

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined and prioritized.

• Work collaboratively with developers and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of requirements.

• Maintain accountability for the quality and delivery of product features and releases.

• Apply Agile principles in sprint planning, backlog management, and foster continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner with a strong background in digital product development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in product ownership, managing backlogs, roadmaps, and Agile delivery.

• Strong experience working as part of software development teams.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

• Strong communication skills for articulating product vision and goals.

• Analytical skills for data-driven decision making and problem-solving.

• Leadership qualities to guide a team towards achieving the product vision.

• Technical understanding, including experience with software development concepts and system architecture.
