Technology & Process Engineer

About the role

In this role, you conduct evaluations and qualifications for new technologies, as well as analyze, design, introduce, optimize, and deploy manufacturing processes critical to producing solar panels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Process Engineers team by managing critical manufacturing processes.

• Capitalize on feedback and implement optimization and continuous improvement in these processes.

• Supervise production operators and conduct experiments on production processes.

• Implement industrial solutions aligned with product and technology objectives to enhance product competitiveness.

• Ensure operators are well-trained and guide them in understanding production constraints and capabilities.

• Oversee the technical processes under your responsibility, including their evolution and training.

• Evaluate and qualify technological solutions and communicate results to clients and certification bodies.

• Innovate and test ideas for technological advancements and document those innovations for production lines.

• Carry out capability studies for manufacturing processes and lead PFMEA sessions across departments.

What we're looking for

As a candidate, you should have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on electromechanics, mechanics or electronics next to 3-5 years of experience in industrial settings. You should also possess:

• Experience in introducing new products and industrial processes.

• Knowledge of materials, electronics, and material sciences.

• The ability to communicate with various stakeholders, be open-minded to new ideas, and define experimental plans.

• Creativity, rigor, curiosity, and initiative, particularly in experimental trials.

• Comfortability in a production environment and capacity to draft reports and conduct technical training.

• Strong Dutch and English language skills; knowledge of French is a big plus.
