About the role

As a VeroTech consultant, you will support chip validation and test activities in a hands-on laboratory environment. You will set up and debug the complete chip test bench, combining measurement instruments, power supplies, boards, fixtures, cabling, automation scripts and data acquisition.

You will execute functional and parametric tests, analyse results and help identify issues by correlating measurements with the design team’s expectations. The role also involves clear reporting and close coordination with an external test house on setup requirements, implementation, logistics, data exchange, issue tracking and schedule follow-up.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and debug the complete chip test bench, including instruments, power supplies, boards, fixtures, cabling and data acquisition

  • Develop and use automation scripts to support efficient laboratory testing

  • Execute functional and parametric tests according to the validation plan

  • Analyse measurement data, identify issues and compare results with design expectations

  • Prepare concise test reports with plots, observations, pass or fail criteria and recommended next steps

  • Coordinate with the external test house on setup requirements, implementation, logistics, data exchange and issue tracking

  • Follow up schedules and technical progress with internal teams and external test-service providers

Job requirements

What we're looking for

We are looking for a pragmatic and autonomous test engineer with strong laboratory testing experience, accurate reporting skills and the ability to collaborate in an international technical environment.

  • Experience with IC or electronic system testing is required

  • Hands-on experience with laboratory measurement equipment and PCB-based test setups

  • Strong ability in structured data analysis and interpretation of measurement results

  • Knowledge of Python, MATLAB or a similar automation environment is mandatory

  • Comfortable spending most of your time in the laboratory

  • Experience with PMICs and voltage regulators is a plus

  • Pragmatic, autonomous and accurate in technical reporting

  • Comfortable interacting with international internal teams and external test-service providers
