Testing Service Senior

Join us at VeroTech as a Testing Service Senior and become a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge applications. Your mission will include crafting test plans and scenarios based on existing documentation and functionalities, ultimately making recommendations on essential tests, such as non-regression, to meet acceptance criteria and mitigate risks.

About the role

In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy for software applications, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise will cover various testing types including functional, non-functional, integration, and non-regression testing. You will also be preparing test data, automating test processes, and managing defect follow-ups to ensure resolution and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

- Craft detailed test plans and scenarios from existing documentation and functionality.

- Recommend tests based on user stories and risk identification.

- Conduct functional, non-functional, integration, and non-regression testing.

- Prepare and maintain test data using automated tools.

- Execute test scenarios and automate testing processes.

- Monitor and follow up on defect resolution.

- Maintain test documentation accessible to a European audience.

- Allocate your time as follows: 30% test specification, 30% test automation, 30% test execution & defect follow-up, 10% test reporting.

What we're looking for

We seek an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance.

- Proven experience in test plan, test design, and scenario writing.

- Strong skills in test automation and programming/scripting, preferably in Python or equivalent logic.

- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and their queries.

- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams. - Proficiency with RobotFramework (an asset).

- Fluency in English and basic proficiency in Dutch and French.

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

- Critical thinking and the ability to challenge the status quo.

- Understanding of IT concepts like Service and Client application, APIs, etc.

- Familiarity with RabbitMQ and DevOps tickets (a plus).

- Security testing experience is an advantage.
