About the role

As a VeroTech consultant, you will support automotive validation activities for electromechanical systems, with a focus on defining validation approaches, coordinating tests and ensuring reliable results at key milestones. You will work in a technical environment involving product design validation, development testing and test facilities across Europe.

You will translate complex validation needs into practical test requests, align planning with project milestones and collaborate with different disciplines to remove roadblocks. Your practical expertise will help strengthen validation methods and support the wider organisation with clear technical guidance.

Key responsibilities

  • Define the validation approach for your technical domain, including virtual validation

  • Sign off validation results for your domain at SOP and other project milestones

  • Coordinate the execution of product design validation tests and ensure agreed milestones are met

  • Translate abstract test needs into clear and actionable test requests

  • Prepare, coordinate, analyse and report on development tests

  • Convert long-term planning into weekly planning and resolve roadblocks that could impact progress

  • Provide work instructions and practical technical guidance for specific validation cases

Job requirements

What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced validation engineer with a strong electromechanical or automotive background, a structured way of working and the ability to represent validation confidently within a technical organisation.

  • Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive sector

  • Experience in automotive testing and testing facilities

  • Experience with DCT validation or comparable validation activities is preferred

  • Experience with hybrid powertrains and automatic transmission is an advantage

  • Experience in technically leading a team

  • Familiarity with VECTOR CANape, CANalyser, AVL-CRETA, INCA and Matlab

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
