Job description
Our dynamic team at VeroTech is seeking an Electronics IVVQ Engineer to become a crucial part of our client's cutting-edge projects in the Liège area. The position involves working at the forefront of technology in the defense systems domain. Joining our engineering team, you play a key role in product development and innovation.
About the role
In this role, you integrate a multidisciplinary team within the Engineering department to contribute to the design, development, and qualification of novel concepts. Your main responsibilities cover the integration, verification, validation, and qualification of sophisticated systems involving hardware, software, and integrated solutions across various platforms.
Key responsibilities
Define integration schemes to evaluate design, behavior, and performance.
Ensure that design requirements are fulfilled following the IVVQ Plan's test strategy.
Develop and execute test sequences, recommend appropriate test equipment and tools.
Execute, debug, and document test scripts and compile comprehensive final reports.
Analyze and provide feedback on test results to improve designs collaboratively.
Set up equipment and prepare solutions for Proof Of Concept (PoC) trials.
Document procedures and reports using advanced IVVQ tools, and automate processes where possible.
Job requirements
What we're looking for
The right engineer is curious, passionate about technologies, and has a sound understanding of the system development lifecycle and IVVQ processes.
Master’s degree in mechanical or electronic engineering.
3+ years of R&D experience with proven skills in defining and implementing test plans.
Knowledge of the V-model system development lifecycle and familiarity with highly regulated products.
Hands-on experience with testing and simulation methods.
Functions well in a high stress environment and ability to prioritize based on risk analysis.
Fluent in both English and French, or willing to learn French quickly.
