Junior (+1st experience) - Project manager

In this role, you will play a key part in material and application-level R&D, helping transform innovative ideas into commercial products and field support services. Beyond your technical input, the position calls for someone with proven experience in a production environment, able to combine strong analytical skills with solid project management and team coordination. Ideally, you bring 1–3 years of experience, during which you’ve developed the ability to manage projects from start to finish, support production challenges, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and applications. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring reliable supply, maintaining high quality standards, and driving the development of new product applications.

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing / Project Engineer to join our production team. In this role, you will help develop and expand traceability systems on the shop floor, ensuring reliable data collection and quality analysis. You’ll support and lead projects to improve machinery processes, drive cost reduction, and boost efficiency, while working closely with both engineers and operators.

We’re seeking a Master’s graduate in Electromechanics or Mechanical Engineering with 1–3 years of experience in a production environment. You bring analytical skills, project management ability, and the confidence to work with both blue-collar teams and R&D experts. Fluency in English and Dutch is required; knowledge of SQL is a plus. Start: ASAP.

Key responsibilities

• Actively contribute as a member of the team, driving the roll out of new production processes.

• Support or take the lead in developing and optimizing machines essential for dryer media manufacturing.

• Maintain and further improve traceability systems on the shop floor to ensure accurate logging of production data and quality parameters.

• Collect and analyze production quality data, delivering insights that enable process improvements and consistent performance.

What we're looking for

• A first experience with SQL, Python and Java

• Experience in a production environment/ site.

• You speak Dutch on a fluent level and can express yourself without problems in English

• A background in adsorption processes or an affinity with chemical processes is a plus

• You have an eye for details and qualitative processes

• You like to communicate with various stakeholders
