Project Manager - Senior

Join our innovative team as a Senior Project Manager, where you will lead complex engineering projects with an eye for safety, energy efficiency, and quality.

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager at VeroTech, you will manage the scope, budget, timing, and quality of engineering projects. Your role involves coordinating various phases of the project, from basic to detail engineering, execution, and startup. You'll input into project layouts, process parameters, and P&IDs, focusing on safety, ergonomics, automation, maintenance, and energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee the coordination of both internal and external multidisciplinary teams.

- Collaborate with procurement for component and service needs.

- Drive communication with key stakeholders including production, R&D, and suppliers.

- Manage site coordination and quality control.

- Organize commissioning and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).

What we're looking for

We are seeking a seasoned professional with the following qualifications:

- A Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, metallurgical) or equivalent experience.

- A minimum diploma as industrial engineer.

- At least 7–9 years of relevant experience (non-beginner level).

- Experience in the chemical, metallurgical, or mechanical engineering sectors.

- Strong technical understanding and experience as a (project) engineer.

- Proficiency in reading and contributing to P&IDs.

- Knowledge of MS Projects.

- VCA certification.

- Native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch and proficiency in English.
