About the role

As a Technical Lead, you will define and maintain the application architecture and ensure code quality, performance, and timely delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including functional/business analysts, testers, project managers, and middleware specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the application architecture.

• Ensure code quality, technical consistency, performance, and timely delivery.

• Create and update the software architecture document and perform technical analysis based on functional specs.

• Promote best practices such as Clean Code, SOLID, and DRY principles.

• Serve as a technical expert within the development team, develop application modules, optimize for memory and response time, and lead refactoring and code reviews.

• Validate development and unit testing, handle corrective and evolutionary maintenance.

• Approve deployment and delivery, ensuring proper functioning across all execution environments.

• Enforce enterprise standards, monitor deadlines, reduce technical debt, and coach developers.

• Maintain regular feedback with the team leader, assist in workload qualification and evaluation.

• Fluent in French and proficient in English

We are seeking an Application Architect / Technical Lead with a strong technical background and leadership abilities.

• Thrive in an Agile/SCRUM environment, with proven experience driving projects forward.

• Bring deep expertise in Java 8, Java EE, JPA2, JAX-WS, and Mockito, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

• Strong command of Spring Boot, JSF2, JUnit, Angular, and JBoss Application Server to deliver modern, high-performance applications.

• Advanced skills in Data & Services Architecture and UML modeling, shaping complex systems into clear, efficient designs.

• Solid background working with DB2 databases, guaranteeing reliable data management.
