Telecom/Datacom As-Built Design Draftsman

Join VeroTech as a Draftsman specializing in service plans for telecom and datacom infrastructures. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to ensure the quality and accuracy of as-built plans.

About the role

In this role, you will manage and update as-built telecom and datacom plans according to established norms and standards, ensuring the quality of available plans. While you will not be involved in the project study phase, you will play a crucial role in the post-project management phase.

Key responsibilities

- Update as-built telecom and datacom plans following redlining recommendations or after work conducted by technicians.

- Perform quality control on telecom and datacom plans to enhance their quality.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure process adherence, quality, and consistency of as-built plans.

- Monitor and adhere to project timelines.

- Apply drawing methodologies consistent with other disciplines.

- Archive and administratively manage plans and metadata using ProjectWise.

What we're looking for

We seek a draftsman with a keen eye for detail and a minimum of two years of design experience. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree or secondary education diploma in electricity or electromechanics or have equivalent experience.

- Proficient in AutoCAD drawing software.

- Good knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

- Team spirit, flexibility, a positive attitude, communication skills, and strong customer orientation.

- Responsible, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and pragmatic.

- Experience in TCOM-DCOM design, as-built TCOM processes, ProjectWise, and technical knowledge of the Elia network are beneficial.

- Fluent in French with a good command of the second national language and proficiency in English or Dutch.
